“The Retail Challenge” Kicks Off 2014 With a Bang
Geneva, IL | February 10, 2014 – Retail Minded and SnapRetail have joined together to create “The Retail Challenge” – a FREE set of 12 challenges, one for each month of the year, that helps independent businesses gain valuable information to help them have a more profitable, more successful 2014.
To kick-start 2014, The Retail Challenge offered participants insight on how to write a press release, as well as tips to reach out to the press. LA based store Kathryn Amberleigh gained press as a direct result of doing this challenge, as did countless other retailers that include Julie’s Corner Store, Michigan based Maggie Anne’s store and many more.
For February, The Retail Challenge introduces ways for participants to incorporate retail education into their schedules and for their businesses. By participating in this challenge, retailers can gain a stronger understanding of various aspects that impact their retail goals, ranging from social media to inventory management to customer service and much more. Tips and tricks are provided on how retailers can gain more retail education, as well as realistic ways as to how they can incorporate it into their busy schedules.
“The Retail Challenge is unlike anything available to retailers in the industry. By offering a free year of educational material to independent retailers, our goal is to help these businesses further thrive and find news ways to obtain sales, visibility and success,” explains Nicole Leinbach Reyhle, Co-Creator of The Retail Challenge and Founder and Editorial Director of Retail Minded.
To further support Retail Challenge participants, there is a private Facebook group available to registered participants of The Retail Challenge.
If you would like to become a member of The Retail Challenge, you can do so by registering for free here. For press and all other inquiries, please contact Retail Minded’s Sarah Ryan at sarah@retailminded.com.
