Etsy Celebrates 10 Years

On June 18, 2005, Etsy came to life thanks to the genius idea of three Brooklyn guys who wanted to connect commerce among creative artists, designers, vintage sellers and of course, buyers. Ten years later and some 700 plus employees later, Etsy is a public company that is available in 12 languages and accepts ten different currencies. And while some fans of small shops and independent businesses may only see the large growth they’ve had over the years, what they should see is the opportunities they have created for 1.4 million entrepreneurs.

Today, we applaud Etsy and celebrate with them on their success. To gain a more in depth look at all they have accomplished over the years, visit their website here and discover a glimpse at their past ten years.

Happy birthday Etsy… and congratulations!
