From The Editor: Summer’s Favorite Time Of Year is ALMOST Here

Summer seems to be flying by and I have to admit, I’m okay with that. Don’t get me wrong… I’ve had fun and always enjoy the extra sunshine and activities, but to me summer starts and ends with the last and first days of school, respectively, since as a working mom this adjusts my schedule incredibly. During the weeks that make up our summer my family and I stay busy traveling, swimming, enjoying friends and family, lingering on our patio a little longer than normal and of course, taking time to visit new stores and old favorites. This summer is no exception and I have had my little helpers – ages 7 and 8 – join me for a quite a few store visits, as well as have enjoyed many on my own like I always do. In the coming days I will be headed to Las Vegas to interview a store owner for a future editorial project I’m working on, plus I am looking forward to engaging with countless retailers at the upcoming ASD Market Week taking place from July 30 – August 2 in Vegas.

This upcoming ASD Market Week is one I have been looking forward to for months. Since their last show concluded in March, I have been counting down the days until their next one would begin. The reasons why are simple, really.

ASD Market Week delivers so much value to merchants that it’s impossible for me not to want to return again and again and again.
