Premiering August 24th, LeBron James will debut his first ever television show titled Cleveland Hustles on CNBC. James will serve as the executive producer of the show and joining him will be host B. Bonin Bough, who is known for his unique commitment in creating partnerships between startup brands and some of the industry’s largest players that have included ParamountABC, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Joining James and Bough on Cleveland Hustles will be small business owners – the real stars of the show – that will each aim to win the grand prize, an endorsement deal from LeBron James himself. Considering Nike signed James to the largest single-athlete deal in 2015 at a price tag rumored to be $340 million plus, winning an endorsement from James is possibly – if not for certain – the best prize any reality show has ever offered.

How to Get Involved 

Bough, the show’s host, participated in three live events where entrepreneurs were invited to come pitch their small business in-person. But if you weren’t able to join, no worries…  you still can. Bough offers the following advice in order to gain LeBron’s attention through a hashtag submission contest, further explained below.

Be memorable. Be passionate. And think outside the box,” shares Bough.

Small business owners nationwide can join in the fun, excitement and competition by sharing a 23 second pitch explaining why LeBron James should endorse their business via Twitter and Instagram. Twenty-three seconds is all it takes for a chance to win. Yes, that’s right… twenty three seconds. During this time, you must share your pitch to LeBron James and identify why your small business deserves his endorsement. Is it because you are doing something so unique that the world needs to know about it? Or is it because you are reinventing something that has already been done a million times… but needs your fresh take on it to be wildly successful again? Whatever your dreams are… whatever your small business is… this is your chance to get it in front of LeBron James.

Participants should submit their entry using hashtag #PitchLeBronContest, which will serve as their official submission to compete for an endorsement by LeBron James.

As most small business owners can relate to, generous budgets are not always on their side. Twenty-three seconds could change this, though, but it’s up to you to make that happen. Push this to the top of your to-do-list to help bring your small business front and center thanks to the power of LeBron.
