Retail Revolution from RETAILMavens Invites Retailers to Attend September Event

Elgin, IL – August 7, 2015 – Illinois based RETAILMavens announced the opening of registrations for their inaugural Retail Profit Revolution event in San Diego, CA. The event will take place September 15-17th, 2015 at the Rancho Bernardo Inn and focus on giving independent retailers the tools to create, maintain, and grow their stores’ profitability in the era of the instant-gratification internet.

After spending three decades in independent retail, Cathy Donovan Wagner –The Retail Maven—will bring the shop local and small revolution to indie retailers from communities across North America. Known for her no-nonsense, numbers-driven, science-based strategy, she will take event attendees through an indie retail bootcamp – giving them everything they need to return to their hometowns and create a lasting legacy instead of another deserted storefront.

Retailers don’t need a course in basic retail rehashing the obvious. Retail has changed. If they are doing things the way they did even 2 years ago, they’re falling behind. Indie retailers need a revolution to leverage what they really offer with the most cutting-edge science on managing everything from their inventory to their marketing,” shares Cathy Wagner, RETAILMavens founder and the Retail Maven herself.

RETAILMavens’ clients have consistently outperformed industry benchmarks for retail growth, profitability, and cash flow, and they do it with significantly less inventory and fewer markdowns than traditional high-performing stores in their sectors. The Retail Profit Revolution live event will allow countless indie retailers the chance to achieve those successes and keep their local economies thriving.
