Trends Stand Out At ASD Market Week

From faux fur scarfs to metallic home accessories to stylish handbags, all the latest, must have trends are at ASD Market Week. Bold colors and prints are included among the must-have items at ASD – sure to captivate customers once they hit store shelves. With over 2,600 of on-trend vendors across 9 product categories, buyers from a variety of retail sectors are discovering must-have items for their unique retail stores.

Minnesota based Kasim Kalid – who owns a home accessory retail store – finds a variety of products at ASD Market Week, stating that it’s a show he returns to often.

I always come to ASD because I know it’s where I’ll find what I need,” Kalid states.

Among the other trends spotted at ASD include home, apparel and accessory items with tassel detailing, ornate objects that include vases, platters and wall art and bold, printed handbags, make-up pouches, suitcases and other luggage inspired items. Leather accessories are also making a strong comeback, with choker necklaces, leather bracelet wraps (as seen in picture above) and countless of other leather items available for attendees to choose from at ASD Market Week. One vendor in particular at ASD Market Week, Charlie Leather, is an attendee favorite for not only his stylish, leather items but also because the majority of his inventory is made in the USA.

Attendees of ASD Market Week are also able to experience countless hands on demonstrations in the beauty category at ASD Market  Week. From hair demos to nail art to facial products and more, there is no shortage of opportunities for attendees to gain a firsthand experience in beauty care and beauty products.

Finally, ASD Market Week welcomed attendees from Las Vegas Market Week to their show floors on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Known as “Two for Tuesday”, attendees were treated with a complimentary shuttle between ASD Market Week and Las Vegas Market Week as well as complimentary admission with the opposite show badge. This is the second time both markets have worked together to support their buyers in easily getting from one show to another, and as Minnesota based retailer Kalid said best, “it’s a nice advantage to be able to shop both markets comfortably with a free shuttle service.”
