Main Street New Jersey Renews Partnership With Retail Minded

Parker, CO (February 17, 2015) – Main Street New Jersey and Retail Minded Magazine have renewed their partnership in an effort to better support the independent businesses and retailers within the Main Street New Jersey organization.

Delivered up to eight times a year, the Main Street New Jersey will introduce Retail Minded Magazine and other educational resources provided by Retail Minded to their members throughout the year. Each issue of Retail Minded Magazine will be co-branded with the Main Street New Jersey logo to further support their efforts in providing their members educational value, while also providing the Main Street New Jersey a chance to deliver quality, relevant, industry-specific news and support for their businesses.

The MSNJ program through its 45 local programs touches several thousand small businesses and around 3,000 retailers.  Being a Partner with Retail Minded enables us to provide cutting-edge retail tools and other content to both those retailers and our local MSNJ programs working in their respective districts.  By being able to leverage the tips, talents and insights found in Retail Minded Magazine and Nicole’s blog, we are able to assist our communities and their retailers with business retention, and ideally with business expansion within their districts” states Jef Buehler, State Coordinator of Main Street New Jersey & Improvement District Programs, who also serves on the Retail Minded Advisory Board.

Since 1989, the Main Street New Jersey program has encourage and supported the revitalization of downtown commerce districts throughout New Jersey. The MSNJ program utilizes a four-point approach to aiding and rebuilding, including, but not limited to organization, economic restructuring, design, and promotion.

Retail Minded’s Partner Program was designed to further support associations and other retail focused groups in helping their members gain trusted and valued retail news, education and support. Partners of this program include Illinois Retail Merchants Association, North Carolina’s Retail Merchant Association, the Kentucky Retail Federation, Idaho Retailers Association, Crafter’s Home retail group, , the Wisconsin Jeweler’s Association and many others.
