Museum Store Association Renews Partnership With Retail Minded

Parker, CO – February 2, 2015 – The Museum Store Association and Retail Minded have renewed their partnership in a continuing effort to better support the independent businesses and retailers with the Association.

Delivered up to 8 times a year, Museum Store Association introduces Retail Minded Magazine and other educational resources provided by Retail Minded to their members throughout the year. These efforts further support their members’ education, while also providing the Museum Store Association a chance to deliver quality, relevant, industry-specific news and support for their businesses.

The Museum Store Association was excited to renew its partnership with Retail Minded, especially in 2015 – a year of great expansion for the magazine. Many of MSA’s members in the nonprofit retail industry gain insight from the relevant news, insights and tools provided by Retail Minded that is specific to small and independent retailers. Retail Minded makes it so easy to share blog content, the digital version of the magazine and other resources with MSA members across the world—we appreciate that so much,” says Lacey Mills, MA, Manager of Learning.

Expanding on their renewal is Retail Minded’s Founder and Publisher Nicole Leinbach Reyhle.

Museum Store Association has been a longtime partner of Retail Minded, and we’re thrilled to continue our relationship with them in an effort to support their members. It’s an honor to work with such a fantastic group of retailers and we couldn’t more more excited to extend this support through 2015,” shares Reyhle.

Founded in 1955, MSA boasts approximately 800 institutions are part of their organization with more than 1200 individual members representing those institutions. According to a survey conducted in 2009, MSA member stores have net sales anywhere from less than $1,000 to more than $8.3 million. Their median net sales are approximately $214,000 and their mean net sales are approximately $653,850.

Retail Minded’s Partner Program was designed to further support associations and other retail focused groups in helping their members gain trusted and valued retail news, education and support. Partners of this program include the Illinois Retail Merchants Association, the Kentucky Retail Federation, Contemporary Ceramics Studios Association, Main Street New Jersey, the Wisconsin Jeweler’s Association, Downtown St. Charles, The State Chamber of Oklahoma, West Virginia Retailers Association and many others.
