Boutique Window Joins Retail Minded as Official Sponsor

Geneva, IL (August 30, 2013) – Retail Minded, the nation’s only retail lifestyle publication dedicated to supporting independent retailers through news, education and support, is thrilled to welcome Boutique Window as an official sponsor of Retail Minded Magazine and RetailMinded.com. Boutique Window, a Nebraska based company, provides simple online marketing that supports retailers in showcasing their products through their own websites as well as social media.

Founded by Courtney Rodgers and Ella Wirtz, Boutique Window came to life in an effort to help local retailers better succeed in their online marketing. It was just one year ago in August 2012 when their efforts began to take shape, and by Spring 2013 stores nationwide started to sign up to incorporate Boutique Window into their own store strategies.

Our reason for starting Boutique Window actually started as a selfish one,”  Rodgers explains. “My co-founder, Ella, and I really enjoy shopping at small, local stores but we had a hard time knowing when those stores were getting new arrivals. We found ourselves wondering why our favorite retailers weren’t posting information about their current merchandise on their websites. After a few conversations with retailers in our area, we realized that there was a need for a tool that would make it quick and easy for small business owners to create and publish high-quality content to their websites and social media pages,” Rodgers further stated.

With Retail Minded reaching over 150, 000 retailers through our unique partner program, Retail Minded is constantly seeking for like-minded businesses that truly support independent merchants. Upon reviewing Boutique Window and learning more about how their service helps small businesses in their online marketing efforts, Retail Minded was excited for the opportunity to work with them and introduce them to retailers worldwide.

The challenges that local, independent retailers face is much different than those of big-box stores. As a result, the services and support they seek  are also different. Boutique Window succeeds in effectively supporting local communities and local merchants by allowing them to easily showcase their merchandise on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and their own personal websites,” Retail Minded Founder Nicole Leinbach Reyhle stated.

While Boutique Window is an online solution for local merchants, their goal is to support brick and mortar stores.

The experience and instant gratification of shopping in a physical store is powerful and cannot be recreated online. But with today’s hyper-connected customers, digital marketing is going to play an increasingly important role in driving in-store sales. Small retailers need to create an online presence that reflects the experiences they’ve created in-store and allows them to stay top of-mind with their shoppers,” Boutique Window’s Courtney Rodgers explains.
