Stylish Finds Hit Center Stage on Day 3 of ASD Show
The Cash & Carry section at the ASD Show is a well known favorite destination among ASD attendees that cater to boutique, resort, fashion forward and indie specific clientele. As each show passes, the ASD team works hard to deliver another great experience for attendees to experience – always working towards their next show. Among the efforts of the ASD team for this March and moving forward is to introduce to retailers jewelry and other accessories that are handmade. And luckily for retailers, they delivered!
Exhibitor and designer Kate Mesta (Booth N3254) is a first time exhibitor at ASD, introducing buyers to handcrafted jewelry that is made in her studio in beautiful Laguna Beach, California. On site at ASD, designer Kate Mesta personally created jewelry based on retailer’s request, crafting one of a kind art in the form of stylish dog tags. Celebrities like Molly Sims and Ellen Degeneres are fans, as well as Kate Mesta is recognized as official jewelry of “Dancing With the Stars”. As for what we think? We’re “Officially Obsessed With Kate Mesta at ASD”!
J.Coon is another exhibitor at ASD who is known for their handmade jewelry, including these bracelets made from spoons. Discover a variety of handmade pieces from J. Coon at ASD, located at booth N3049. Known for having “unique jewelry for the artful soul”, J. Coon is beautifully crafted while also up-cycling products (such as spoons) in many of their designs. From necklaces to earrings to bracelets and more, your store shelves will become conversation starters with J. Coon.
Last up, but certainly not least, are the designs of Erica Sanchez, known as Modern Opus (Booth N3249). This Brooklyn, New York based jewelry designer handcrafts each of her delicate jewelry pieces in her home studio – proving that indie designers rock no matter how big or small! Her first time exhibiting at ASD, Sanchez was excited to meet the attendees of ASD and stated, “your retailers are great here!”.
We, of course, we couldn’t agree more.
One final highlight of Day 3 at ASD was the Gift Section’s exhibitor booth display competition. Taking home the prize was FREAKER USA, a Shark Tank contestant and North Carolina based company that not only had lots of color, music, fun and product to highlight at their booth… but Mike Tyson and Mr. T look alikes, as well! Learn more about FREAKER USA here.
Day 4 – the last day of the Winter 2014 ASD Show – kicks off tomorrow, and while it’s always sad to see good things come to an end… have no fear. ASD returns in August 2014!
