Win a Trip To The ASD Show in Vegas!
Lydia Stern, a retail store owner from North Carolina, knows first hand what it is like to learn she won a trip to the nation’s largest consumer trade show, ASD, in Las Vegas.
“When I first got the email I didn’t believe it could possibly be true. Yeah Right, I won a trip to Las Vegas. I probably also won 1 million bazillion dollars. A closer look and it seemed to me that I actually did win a trip! I vaguely remembered entering the contest after seeing a tweet from @retailminded. Once I determined that this was not a scam and I had truly won a trip to the ASD show, I couldn’t have been more excited.”
Stern’s experience at both the ASD March 2012 trade show and in Las Vegas were a welcomed treat for both herself and her store. And now it’s your turn! “We checked in at the Venetian, but the show had already ended for the day. it was a let down to miss Day 1 of ASD due to flight delays, but we did get to meet up with Nicole (from Retail Minded) and enjoy the welcome party that night. Debbie Gibson – the one from the 80’s pop scene – was ASD’s featured guest that night, and along with a few drinks and some dancing we had a fantastic night! The next day we were off to the ASD show to find some new great products that I could carry in my bead and jewelry store. I had been thinking a lot lately about diversifying my inventory to appeal to the crafty and none crafty alike. The show was more than I had hoped-for! Aisle after Aisle of jewelry, handbags, clothing, every thing you could think of and more! And that was just the first of five exhibition halls! Two more days of shopping, a little bit of gambling, a dip in the pool and sadly it was time to come back home. Now that I know all the great things ASD show has to offer I can’t wait to go back, even if it means I’ll have to buy the ticket myself.”
